Ladies Squash sessions to resume - Sunday 23rd May 2021 -5:30pm
The popular Ladies Sessions are set to resume from Sunday 23rd May 2021 @ 5:30pm and will continue on Sundays at the same time. Safety protocols will be in place and the sessions are open to ladies of all standards. Currently no membership is required (although welcome) so if you are a complete beginner who would like to try out the game, or a competent player, why not pop along for a session of fun and exercise, do some stretching and play some squash. Please make sure you are wearing a mask when coming along (you won't need to wear this when playing).
Congratulations to Alex Booth who won the 2025 Handicap Tournament, and to Abhishek Jaywant for making it through to the finals. Alex was the second seed in the tournament and Abhishek the top seed with Alex having a -17 and Abhishek -18, so the games started at -1 to 0. Alex won a close first game 11/9 but Abhishek fought to win the second game 11/4. Alex went on to win the next two games and win the match by three games to one. Well done to Alex and Abhishek and to the fifty players that entered the tournament. A big thanks also to Alex for organising this tournament which was held for the first time since pre-covid times in 2019.
Club Night is now scheduled for every first and third Friday of the month at 19:30-21:00
