Community Engagement

 Community Engagement @ Blackheath

The club would like to expand further into the community with partners like the University of Greenwich, South London Special LeagueLeigh Academy and local schools and colleges. There are many new residential developments in the local community that are going to increase demand for squash and other activities. We see this as a great opportunity to increase squash and racketball in the community, as well as providing a venue for pilates, yoga and other health and well-being activities during quieter times.

Community Development Plan

The club has developed a community engagement plan which will be overseen by the club committee. We have also created a new role on the committee, the role of Community Engagement Officer. The Community Engagement Officer and a group of volunteers will form the Community Engagement Steering Group and provide guidance and feedback to the Community Engagement Officer and the Club Committee.

If you would like to find out more about the plans and aims of our Community Engagement Plan, have a project that involving the community, or would like to discuss working with us please email the Community Engagement Officer.
